ESSA is a team of special education professionals and related service providers who are passionate about doing what’s best for students. We believe it is up to all of us to help children grow. We are here not only to provide direct services, but to assist both schools and families of students with special needs in order to maximize student results.
Our Services:
Special Education Case Management: Our team of professionals will manage your special education program from start to finish ensuring all deadlines are met for document review and reporting. Meeting notices will be generated by our team and all necessary participants will be invited.
Special Education Compliance Check: ESSA works closely with state monitors to ensure compliance on all special education related documents. Compliance checks can be conducted upon request (ex: prepare for an upcoming monitoring session) or as an ongoing process.
Special Education Training: ESSA offers individualized training for staff and administrators on all areas of special education. Trainings range from special education processes such as child find and eligibility to more specified trainings on behavior intervention supports, Autism, and differentiated instruction.
Provide Special Education Related Service Providers: Our team includes professionals in the areas of Speech/Language, Occupational Therapy, and Counseling for both direct and consult services.
Virtual Instruction: ESSA is experienced in providing both academic instruction and related services via a virtual platform. Our service providers are skilled in engaging students online and progress monitoring in order to ensure effectiveness.
Educational Leadership Development: With more than 20 combined years of educational leadership and program directing, our team is able to assist your staff with a wide range of training including effective conflict management, how to lead others, and emotional intelligence for leaders.
Advocacy: ESSA is passionate about educating and standing with families of children with special needs. We provide assistance with Empowerment Scholarship applications and offer mediation to both schools and parents in order to facilitate positive, productive conversations that focus on the student’s best interests.
Speech / Language Therapy: Exceptional Student Services of Arizona also provides speech and language services that include but are not limited to fluency, articulation, excessive and receptive disorders, and pragmatic language. Our Speech Experts take the time to consult with the educational team and use a collaborative approach that best supports a student's needs.
